By using TightShip ("the service"), you agree to these terms.

Note: This document is a starting point for closed beta and early paid US customers. Before any enterprise/agency customer or any EU/UK/CA customer, have it reviewed by a lawyer.

What TightShip is

TightShip is software for commercial production professionals (photographers, filmmakers, producers) to draft quotes, build call sheets, capture receipts, and manage crew contacts. Some features use AI (Claude by Anthropic) to assist drafting and data extraction.

AI-generated content (important)

TightShip uses AI to draft quotes, parse receipts, and extract contacts. AI-generated content is a suggestion, not a finished work product. You are responsible for:

The AI can and does make mistakes. Common failure modes include — but are not limited to:

We are not liable for losses, errors, or disputes arising from AI-generated content. Treat AI output as a draft you must review, not a finished product. Once you send an AI-drafted quote to a client or save an AI-parsed receipt to your records, you have accepted responsibility for its contents.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TightShip's total liability to you for any claim is limited to the greater of:

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified by email at least 14 days in advance.


Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Laramie County, Wyoming.
